Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
Based on the South Shore of Nova Scotia since 2003, MCO is Atlantic Canada's
only concert opera company. Nina is its Founding Artistic Director. MCO has
produced an impressive slate of concert, including concert versions of Dido
and Aeneas, Cavallaria Rusticana, The Barber of Seville, La Boheme and La
Traviata.

Halifax Summer Opera Workshop
Nina acts as General Manager and principal stage director for this workshop,
which she and music director Tara Scott founded in 2005.In 2008 the operas
presented will be Le Nozze di Figaro and The Consul.

Dalhousie Opera Workshop
Nina is the guest stage director for Dalhousie University Music Department's
Opera Workshop again this year, where she will direct students in Act II of
Die Fledermaus.

Opera Anonymous
From 1994 to 2002 I helped run a small opera company in Toronto, with the tireless help of many lovely people. Although Opera Anonymous has now gone to its rest, this endeavour gave me an enormous amount of pleasure and satisfaction over the years, and gave me the opportunity to learn a great deal about the nuts and bolts of opera, as well as letting me work with the nicest people imaginable.
